Arly Lara is a bilingual student journalist and fourth-year student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Communication with double minors in Journalism and Spanish.
She has been a part of the UCSB TV team for the past two years, where she enjoys covering community events and learning more about the people and stories that shape the local community.
In her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries and exploring different styles of storytelling.
A fun fact about her is that through UCSB TV she had the opportunity to interview celebrities including Zoe Saldaña and Jacob Elordi, along with many other notable figures.
