Claralyn Manning is pursuing a History degree while also following her passion in sports journalism/broadcasting at UCSB. She grew up in the fun sports city of Southern San Diego.
Claralyn is involved in four different types of internships on campus that are helping her professionally grow so that she can get her dream job in the professional sports world.
Her favorite memory while at UCSB (so far) has been either sports reporting for the United States Women’s National Team or interviewing the Head Coach, Andrew Checkettes, of the Baseball team after his players were drafted to the MLB in 2025.
