Zuri is the 2024-2025 Co-Executive News Director for UCSB TV. She is a senior Film & Media Studies and Black Studies double major at UC Santa Barbara.
Outside of the newsroom, Zuri is the Production Coordinator and Assistant Program Director for KCSB-FM and the host of the drive time radio show Mocha in the Morning. She spent her summer working as the Events Intern for the D.C Commission on the Arts & Humanities in Washington, DC.
When she is not covering news in the Santa Barbara area, Zuri loves writing, traveling and trying new restaurants with friends. Zuri has a passion for storytelling and hopes to pursue a career in the media field post-grad.
