Amanda Marroquin is a news reporter for UCSB TV. She is a third-year student studying Communication and hoping to minor in Professional Writing under the Journalism track.
Amanda has written for the Santa Barbara Independent and is a Senior Editor for Her Campus UCSB. She also leads the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives for Alpha Phi UCSB.
Amanda is passionate about many things including her life’s goal of traveling the world, writing about it, and drinking good coffee while at it! She is very excited to be reporting for UCSB TV and cannot wait to learn, explore, and share her love of journalism.
