Zuri is the 2022-2023 news reporter for UCSB TV. She is a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara studying Film and Media Studies and Black Studies. On campus, she is also involved in radio at KCSB-FM, is a writer for the Opinion Section of The Daily Nexus, and is an avid participant in UCSB’s Theater Department.
When she is not covering news in the Santa Barbara area or performing on the UCSB stage, Zuri loves to write short stories and poems or try new restaurants in the area with friends. Zuri thrives in environments where she can merge her passions for performing and informing through the art of writing and hopes to pursue a career in the media and entertainment sphere.
