With six years of non-profit work and current involvement with UC Santa Barbara TV as a news reporter, Rebecca Hurtado Fairweather has grown to become a changemaker dedicated to leading and educating the public on global and social issues. Hurtado Fairweather has interacted with global organizations, The United Nations, the Girl-Up global community to promote female youth involvement in much-needed social change around the world. Beyond that Rebecca is passionate about kitchen table issues, such as school shootings, women’s right medical treatment, and climate change.
